Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey into event planning started long before I officially launched my business. For over a decade, I worked behind the scenes producing community and philanthropic events, learning how powerful well-planned gatherings can be in bringing people together. I later stepped into the wedding industry as an event assistant, where I quickly fell in love with the fast pace, creativity, and emotional impact of celebrating life’s biggest milestones.

Life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 25, just 4 months after my big wedding day. That experience profoundly shifted my perspective. It reminded me how meaningful it is to celebrate love, family, and community while we can. While navigating treatment, I decided to take a leap of faith and create Events LC. What began as a passion project has now grown into a boutique planning company producing weddings and events throughout Los Angeles and across Southern California. Planning events allowed me to channel my energy into creating beauty and meaningful moments for others. In many ways, building this business became part of my healing journey.

Building Events LC hasn’t been a straight path. Like many entrepreneurs, I started with limited resources but a strong vision, determination, and a deep commitment to my clients. Over time, through word-of-mouth, meaningful relationships with incredible vendors, and the support of a passionate team, Events LC has grown into a trusted planning boutique known for thoughtful design, organization, and heart-driven service. While our team continues to expand, we intentionally maintain a boutique approach to ensure every client feels a genuine personal connection and individualized care on one of the most important days of their lives.

Today, I wear many hats; as a wife, a mother, and the CEO of a growing planning boutique. Balancing family and entrepreneurship has shaped my leadership style and deepened my passion for creating celebrations that truly matter. I am driven by the impact our work has on people’s lives and remain committed to building a brand centered on purpose, connection, and unforgettable experiences.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey has definitely not been a smooth road, but it has been incredibly meaningful. One of the biggest challenges has been learning how to balance my personal life as a wife, mother and daughter with the demands of entrepreneurship. The events industry is fast-paced and often requires long hours, weekends, and constant problem-solving. There were seasons where I felt the pressure of wanting to grow my business while also being fully present for my family.

In addition to the typical challenges that come with building a company; financial risks, leadership responsibilities, and the uncertainty that many entrepreneurs face, I was also navigating my own health journey. While I am proud to share that I am officially five years cancer-free in 2026, healing is not always linear. There are still moments of reflection, growth, and emotional strength that continue to shape how I show up in both my life and my business.

Those experiences have taught me resilience, perspective, and the importance of creating space for both ambition and grace. They have also deepened my passion for the work we do. Celebrating life’s milestones takes on an even greater meaning when you understand how valuable those moments truly are.

Events LC is a Los Angeles-based boutique wedding and event planning company specializing in thoughtfully curated celebrations throughout Southern and Central California. We provide full-service planning, design guidance, and event management for weddings and milestone events that are both elevated in style and deeply personal in experience. I am most proud that Events LC was built with resilience, heart, and purpose. What began as a passion project during a challenging season has evolved into a respected planning boutique serving multiple regions and diverse celebrations. Our work goes beyond planning events; we create intentional experiences that allow people to celebrate life, love, and legacy in unforgettable ways.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is spending summer evenings at family barbecues in our backyard. I remember the sound of music playing in the background, the smell of charcoal on the grill, and the feeling of swinging on the swing set while watching my family laugh, cook, and simply enjoy being together.

Looking back, I realize those experiences shaped my love for gatherings and meaningful celebrations. They taught me how powerful it is when people come together to create memories, share stories, and feel a sense of belonging. In many ways, that same feeling is what I strive to recreate through Events LC today; designing events that feel welcoming, intentional, and filled with moments people will carry with them long after the celebration ends.
