Check Out Michelle Yoswa’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Michelle Yoswa.

Hi Michelle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Having my children later in life, at 40 and 42, was a serious reality check. I was working out non stop and regardless of how healthy I was, my body was not responding.

So I started learning myself. I dove into the female body, hormones, perimenopause and menopause. I thought it all started in your 50s!!

That’s when I discovered GLP 1s, and they honestly changed my life. They became a tool that helped me get back to feeling like myself while still living a healthy, active lifestyle.

That experience inspired me to create The Slim Haus. I wanted to create a place where women could learn about their options, feel supported, and realize they don’t have to spend their lives fighting their own bodies.

My Motto: “Losing weight is a trend, staying slim is a lifestyle.”

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been an easy ride. First I was partnered with the wrong pharmacy. They made so many mistakes, and I had a lot of hurdles to deal with with them. My website was not optimized and it certainly was not getting me a good call to action so after a year of struggling through things, I’m losing lots of money. I finally have it all worked out and things are working much better.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’ve been in a medical sales for over 20 years specifically in Dermatology and Aesthetics. I created my own business called the Aesthetic connect where I connect everyone in LA in Orange County to the most upcoming newest Aesthetic trends.. I’m known for bringing products to market and introducing them to all of the doctors because I have so many relationships. The perks I get to try everything for myself too and that’s not too bad for a 51-year-old!

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My father‘s mother, my grandmother, Sallie. She used to make anything from scratch. All you had to do is give her some flour, butter sugar, and she’d make you the most decadent cake on earth and not only that she could cook anything and it was the best. Now I’ve taken a page out of her book and every time I cook for my children I put so much love into it. I think both she and I share one common thing and that’s cooking is our love language; if we cook for you, that means we love you.
