Today we’d like to introduce you to Janet Gomez.
Hi Janet, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started Jan’s Spring shortly after becoming a first-time mom and realizing that I needed a creative outlet to connect with other like-minded women. After going through many business ideas, the one that has remained is Jan’s Spring and while it started as a personal blog, it has now grown into a creative consulting studio. I do social media management and conceptualize and design the perfect layouts for brands. I love to add my unique touch to everything I do and I make sure every shot is Instagram-ready! I am a true extrovert and love networking with other women like myself, which is why I am also the co-founder of Las Mamacitas, where our mission is to empower women through our social-networking events and markets.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the main struggles has been having boundaries! There has been times where I have burnt myself out working long hours that I have neglected my mental health! I now realize the importance of taking care of myself along the way!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I love collaborating with people that I can relate to where I can further pave my path in my creative journey. Working with brands that value the importance and the effect social media has on e-commerce and beyond. People resort to social media to find out about brands and this is why having a photogenic platform is very important. That is why Jan’s Spring Design was born. This is where I help manage small women-owned businesses social media platforms and create beautiful imagery for their products. I thank all of my growth to the community my co-founder and I created, Las Mamacitas. Through our platform, we are passionate about empowering women, influencers, and small business owners. We specialize in building meaningful relationships with them through our signature and highly anticipated events including Mamacita Markets and Mamacita Mixers. We also connect brands to our network and audience through sponsored opportunities and activations.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
I love working with other women in our community. We can connect through my creative consulting studio page, @jansspringdesign or @jans_spring. We are also always open to collaborating with other business with Las Mamacitas. You can give us follow through @la_mamacitas and connect with us through there.
