Hi Jade, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I moved to Los angeles with no job, friends, or plan so i started posting content for the love of it and thats when everything started to take off!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, and has come with lots of self doubt, imposter syndrome, and sleepless night wondering if it’s worth it. There were nights I cried myself to sleep over how I was going to pay rent, doubting myself, and debating if I should just quit and move back home to follow a more stable career path

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a queer fashion, beauty and lifestyle creator who specializes in creating a community of confident women who don’t let their size hold them back. I’d say i’m most known for my maximalistic style and applying it to every aspect of my life. Last year i created a clothing collection with Lonely Ghost called Jadeyland where I was able to fully design and creative direct the entire collection + campaign where I had designs that could fit any size. I believe my desire to want to stand apart from the crowd instead of conforming to it, is what makes me unique in this space.

The moment you try to figure out what makes you special and meaning into that instead of replicating what’s already been done, is when you’ll find true success
