Today we’d like to introduce you to Cynnie Jane

Hi Cynnie , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m Cynnie Jane and I’m a pop-rock artist and singer-songwriter with a deep passion for creating music that listeners can really connect with. My journey began when I earned my B.S. in Music Industry from USC’s Thornton School of Music, which gave me a solid foundation in both the creative and business sides of the industry. After that, I formed the rock band Cynister, which was a major turning point for me as both a performer and a songwriter. That experience shaped me as an artist and helped me develop my stage presence, songwriting, and vocal ability.

In addition to my work as a solo artist, I’ve had the pleasure of writing for other artists as well as for TV and film projects. I’ve also worked extensively on the business side of the industry at iconic labels like Interscope Records, YSL Records, Warner Music Group, and Epic Records. This experience has been invaluable in understanding the industry from all angles, and it continues to influence my approach to music today. Now, for my solo project, I blend big pop hooks, a rock edge, and trap elements to create music that’s both powerful and authentic. I play piano, write all my own songs, and my lyrics reflect my real life experiences. I’ve performed at numerous festivals and notable venues in LA and beyond, and I’m always looking for ways to create an impact through my music.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been a smooth journey. The music industry is full of challenges, and early on, rejection was a big part of the process. But that’s where resilience, perseverance, and dedication come into play. I’ve always been a fervent believer in the transmutation of pain into power, and that philosophy has shaped not just my personal growth, but my music as well. Each setback taught me how to turn struggles into strength, and that message is at the heart of each and every one of my songs. Looking back, every challenge has been essential in pushing me to grow, both as an artist and as a person, and it’s made the successes all the more rewarding.
