Hi Chloe, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Sure! I’m a Los Angeles–based bartender known for fun, elegant cocktails and a down-to-earth hospitality style that’s warm and intuitive. I’m currently running a venue in Venice Beach called the Lincoln. But my background is all over the place, spanning from high-volume bars, intimate lounges, and spirit-focused programs, so I’ve tried to build a reputation for balancing technical precision with an effortless, approachable vibe behind the bar.

I originally went to school for Architecture and Design. So, I would say a large part of my passion and journey lies in translating spirits into experiences — whether it’s the ambient lighting, the rotating playlist, or crafting a custom drink based on nothing more than a mood. Being detail-oriented and endlessly curious, I try to keep the guest experience curated by every angle. Oh, and I’m also a huge music fan. So you’ll probably pick up on that if you ever come visit the Lincoln – I’m as proud of the music program as I am the bar program. We’ve got some truly talented people on our team.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Haha, some would say it’s never a smooth road in our industry. Working in nightlife means dealing with everything from wild drink orders to even wilder personalities, but I like to think that myself and my team thrives in the chaos. Broken glass? Deep breath. Ten-deep crowd? Game on. Guests who say “surprise me” with zero direction? My favorite. Every obstacle behind the bar just becomes part of your superpower: staying cool, staying witty, and staying in control when the night tries to unravel.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I would say our main focus at The Lincoln is making people feel something — with drinks, with atmosphere, with a vibe that hits the second you sit down. We aim for fast hands, loud music, clean spirits, and the kind of service that’s fun without trying too hard. Especially in LA, where there are a million bars to choose from – I genuinely feel so grateful to be part of this venue and this team. We pride ourselves on keeping the bar flowing and the energy high, one drink at a time.

What matters most to you?
I try to keep it simple: real connection, real spirits, and a bar energy that feels electric — not chaotic. I care about the details guests never see, like balancing flavors, remembering regulars’ quirks, and keeping the vibe sharp from open to last call. If it doesn’t add to the experience, it doesn’t matter.
