Today we’d like to introduce you to Boot Raymond.

Hi Boot, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started rapping around like 14 Im like a lil Kendrick fan girl so I was just like yeah bro this crazy but I was listening to jid and Kenny mason and im from the south so it resonated to me so I just started free styling every day after school for like 2 hours but I really started trying to make music in pre k I had a guitar and would make like love songs about the girls I went to daycare with on some usher shit first official song I was like 9 on garage band I was just re wording a lil yatchy song

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I mean I guess not number wise but I don’t even care about the numbers im trynna be on some godly shit in music like a soul child or something and I like experimenting and it feel fresh when I can tell im getting better at it that’s my goal is to evolve and make beautiful music and impact people the numbers not as big but to be fair I lowkey don’t care people will catch on sooner or later just have faith

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I make music I think I specialize in just being me being raw im getting better at the technical aspect day by day im most proud of my consistency and what sets me apart I really feel like I be on my own thing in music like i definitely take inspiration but it be from the soul so it turns into my own thing

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My advice is just be you and have real passion and something I wish I knew is writing sometimes makes a better product then freestyling
