Check Out Ava Bianchi’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ava Bianchi.

Hi Ava, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started acting when I was 3 or 4. I started in theatre and have been taking classes and learning the craft all these years. I am now 17 and acting is still my passion. I am excited to say my first feature film is screening on October 15th in Chicago IL. I star opposite RJ Mitte from Breaking Bad. He is the lead in the film and I play his sister. I am very excited for this film to come out because I booked it before Covid and with the uncertainty of the world we did not know if it would ever get made.

After October 15th The Unseen with hit the festival circuit in the thriller/horror genre. I am grateful to Lakefront Pictures for giving me this amazing opportunity. I continue auditioning on a regular basis and hope to land some more amazing roles soon. So for anyone interested in the acting field my best advice is to be patient. This business is very difficult and it is very rare to become an overnight sensation. Just like anything you need to study and be in class and do your best on auditions and then let it go. If it is meant to be your role it will happen!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Acting is a difficult road. I am sure if you ask any successful actor they will tell you that it took many many years and thousands of auditions to get to where they are today. The difficulty with this business is that you could be the best actor but you may not have the right look or fit for what they are casting at the time.

It takes a stroke of luck, the perfect project at the perfect time. I try and hang in there and know that eventually, all my hard work will pay off. I also think having other interests is very important. I play tennis, read and plan to go to college next year and find a field that I love, but for now, my field of choice is acting and I will not give up.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I have worked on many projects in the past including roles on Nickelodeon when I was little, many commercials, and voiceovers. I am most proud of my current film that screens on October 15th called the Unseen starring RJ Mitte from Breaking Bad. He taught me so much and I was so blessed to have the opportunity to work with him and the incredible filmmakers on the project. It is the biggest role I had to date and I have a really emotional scene that closes the film with RJ. I am really proud of this project and I cannot wait for it to stream so everyone can see it. Hopefully a sequel!!

Something that sets me apart in this industry is I am really an introvert at heart. So I guess you can say I am an introverted/extrovert for acting. I love reflecting on the characters and being on set is amazing I will forever be learning and enjoying the process.
