Today we’d like to introduce you to Asya Rose.
Hi Asya, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My passion for astrology started over 10 years ago when I had my first chart reading. Being a natural skeptic, I came in to the session with a motive to prove that astrology wasn’t real and that whatever I was about to be told would be wrong. Instead I left that session feeling fully seen for the first time in a long time with a deeper understanding of myself.
My study and experience began small at first, even though I was reading and studying every book I could get my hands on, I was somehow left more in fear and disempowered than empowered. I didn’t like the feeling that I didn’t have control over my own destiny and that what was in my chart was predetermined. But I soon realized it was all open to the interpretation of the specific astrologer and that I wanted my practice to empower people to not be limited by certain aspects of their charts but instead focus on the strengths and opportunities they can take advantage of.
Since then, I have studied different astrological systems over the years, including Natal Western astrology, Hellenistic Astrology, and Karmic Astrology and have integrated them into my practice to offer a comprehensive and personalized approach.
My mission is to empower you to make informed decisions, overcome obstacles, and live your life to the fullest.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I think any person in the spiritual space who uses their intuition as part of their career would be lying if they said they didn’t struggle with self-doubt. There is a common debate between astrologers on how much of your chart is pre-determined, destined or fated vs. how much is free will. I believe it’s a combination of both – I always say, Astrology is like a weather report…it’s going to show you what the energy is doing during that time and where the opportunity or challenge is. So just like the weather, you can decide if you want to put on a raincoat and go outside or you can choose to stay in. Same with Astrology, you can choose what opportunities you want to take advantage of or which ones you’ll leave behind.
In my personal experience, the self-doubt shows up when I know that people may or may not take advantage of opportunities that I point out. I have had to learn that is not a reflection of the work that I provide, and more of a reflection of everyone’s individual journey. One of the biggest struggles I have to continuously manage is realizing the famous saying is true that “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink”. While I know people see me for guidance and advice, it’s always up to them whether they listen or not. If they choose a different path, that doesn’t reflect poorly on my ability to intuitively guide someone based on their chart.
Other struggles have included the exposure of myself on social media and dealing with the unsolicited feedback I get from people (hello, internet trolls) who seem to have more of an opinion about my personal appearance rather than the information and education I am sharing.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As a professional Astrologer, my entire business model is making Astrology practical and digestible for everyone no matter your level of understanding of the topic. What sets me apart is that I offer a fresh, practical, and empowering approach to astrology using the stars not as a personality label, but as a tool for navigating transitions, timing your personal evolution, recognizing repeated patterns, and consciously stepping into a fulfilling life. Unlike others in this field who fixate on the self-definition of “who am I?” my approach asks, “now that you know who you are, what are you going to do about it?” Its not just about who you are, but what to do next. I provide practical tools and actionable steps in every session and bring concepts of spirituality into real life practice.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Simply put, empowering people.
I think in this modern age, we are so programmed and conditioned to believe that in order to get ahead and succeed that we have to compete to the top by knocking others down, or that there is only a predetermined amount of people who can make a difference and the rest of us just have to fall in line. My goal is to empower people to take their power back in their lives and understand that they can achieve all that they want. There is enough room for everyone to be successful, and we don’t have to give our power away to other people because we have been conditioned to believe so.
As someone who has dealt with a lot of personal trauma and experience around narcissists and witnessing people try to disempower others or use their positions of power to control and manipulate, my goal will always be to empower others and actually show them the ways that they can take their power back in their own life.
