Alisha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
LA BORN AND RAISED
As a Freestyle hair Artist :
It all started in the Callejones (the Santee alley) in Downtown , La
It is known to be the fashion district.
My sister owned a vintage thrift One off eclectic store, when my time didn’t consist of sourcing I spent most of my days cutting up clothes and just random materials to make upcycled garments to then sell.
That then grew into wardrobe styling and photography.
Since this was something my sister owned I sat back and thought to myself “how could I do something for myself with all these skills and have something noone could take from me”
So I went to cosmetology school and just opened my mind more and more creatively when it came to hair.
DARE TO BE DIFFERENT!
I love what I do Anything I do has my signature in it , the goal is when you see my hair styles in public you’ll already without a doubt know who the hairstylist is .
I like each and every person I work with to experience the look in there own moment.

Trying to figure out what sets me aside from other people in the industry

I am a freestyle hair artist

I am Hairstylist each and every style I do is unique and has its own moment
