My journey as a videographer and business owner in the wedding industry has been an exciting and fulfilling one, but it’s also been marked by diverse experiences that have shaped my craft and approach.
It all began with a passion for storytelling and a love for capturing life’s most precious moments through the lens of a camera. From the early days, I experimented with shooting music videos, commercials, corporate events, and personal gatherings, exploring different styles and techniques to create captivating visual narratives.
Throughout this journey, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have the unwavering support of my beautiful wife. Her encouragement, belief in my abilities, and willingness to stand by my side through the ups and downs have been invaluable. Together, we’ve faced challenges head-on and celebrated successes, always as a team.
In 2019, my wife and I founded our photo and video company (KIMFILMS WEDDINGS), driven by our shared passion for storytelling and our desire to create meaningful experiences for our clients. The decision to start our own business was a leap of faith, but with dedication and hard work, we turned our vision into reality.

Along the way, we’ve continued to explore opportunities beyond weddings, collaborating on projects ranging from music videos to corporate events. These diverse experiences have not only expanded our portfolio but also enriched our storytelling capabilities, allowing us to bring fresh perspectives and creative insights to every project we undertake.
Today, I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished as a company. We’ve grown from a small startup to a thriving business, serving couples across California and beyond. But more importantly, we’ve had the privilege of playing a small part in some of the most important moments in people’s lives, and for that, I’m truly grateful.
As we look to the future, my vision is to continue pushing the boundaries of creativity and excellence in wedding videography and photography while also exploring new opportunities for growth and innovation across different sectors. I’m excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and the chance to continue making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, no matter the occasion, with the continued support of my wonderful wife, AKA CEO, and managing partner by my side.

One surprising aspect of my journey that many people may not be aware of is that I am a leukemia survivor. This experience has profoundly shaped who I am today and how I approach both my work and life in general.
Facing such a serious illness taught me the value of cherishing every moment and every relationship in my life. It instilled in me a deep appreciation for the beauty of each day and the importance of spending time with the people I love.
This perspective influences not only how I interact with clients and approach my work but also how I prioritize my personal relationships and make decisions in my daily life. It’s a reminder to live with gratitude, resilience, and a sense of purpose, cherishing each opportunity to create meaningful connections and capture precious moments through my work.
Surviving leukemia has made me acutely aware of the fragility and preciousness of life, and I carry that awareness with me in everything I do. It’s a part of my story that has profoundly impacted me and continues to inspire me to make the most of every moment, both behind the camera and beyond.
