Check Out Aeson Barnes’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aeson Barnes.

Hi Aeson, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Growing up, I’ve also been into the Entertainment side of things. At a young age, my mom would take me to local theatre auditions, after getting casted in several shows, I realized that entertaining and performing is something I love and have a passion for and want to do for the rest of my life! Once I got to middle school, I started building my support group, “The Lionz” I started to embrace my talents of dance from Joining the school step team and posting dance videos of me on my Instagram account, after that I was known for being “That boy that can dance” all through middle school and high school. Once I got to college, my life started getting rocky and I started to face constant traumatic experiences, so I reverted to music and journaling, I would sit in my room at all hours of the night, making 75-100 songs a day. I always kept my voice and music to myself because singing was an insecurity of mine. But once I started teasing my music online and seeing people’s reacts all over social media, I being to get the courage to finally put my music out into the world. Ever since then, I’ve been growing my fan base over TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, chasing your dreams and being a full-time college student is a hard task, There has been plenty of nights that I’ve had to study for a test and turn around & have to turn in a verse that same night. With my music videos being green screen sets and CGI, filming different scenes and shoots for music videos can take a full day or two and can get very exhausting and draining and take away from other things you planned to work on.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I sing, write, produce and vocal arrangement for me and other artists, I recently started producing and love the unique and crazy sounds I’ve come up with, you guys will definitely be hearing a lot of the sounds on my Debut EP. When I started producing, it was like a big achievement to me from when I first started music to now, producing was something I would eventually get into it but I didn’t know I would be doing it so soon and be doing for other people, My style and sound makes me stand out from others, and with my new sound and style for my next era for my upcoming project will help me stand out even more.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
As a creative, I’ve had thousands of risks, Losing hours of sleep to make sure I have all my assignments done, Songs mixed, videos edited, etc. As a college student, I’ve risked a lot of parties and school events just to focus on my craft and career.
