An Inspired Chat with ACE BLIZZY of San Diego

We’re looking forward to introducing you to ACE BLIZZY. Check out our conversation below.

Hi ACE, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
This world can be chaotic, and often times, easy to lose yourself in. When I become overwhelmed with time or need to re-center myself, I love listening to music and more specifically, my old stuff. I know some artists shy away from their past work, but I find it keeping me inspired almost allowing myself to have a conversation with the past. It allows to pay attention to what I can improve moving forward, similar to watching film in sports.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Ace Blizzy symbolizes the power of inspiration and Hybrid fluidity. Having grown up in San Diego, CA, but also having spent 8 years on the east coast in the Philly and New York City areas, Ace provides the best of both worlds through his music. Wether it’s floating melodies and groovy baselines, to scorching flows and clever deep-cut lyricism, Ace Blizzy provides multiple scopes and views into his world. Ace embeds his content with many different aspects of life. From fly shit, to women, or pain and loss, to living good and smoking good weed and even more, Ace allows the audience to get front row seats into his universe. Ace Blizzy just recently dropped his newest single “FIRST CLASS” and might be looking to promote a potential new EP going into the fall. Stay tuned!

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My Grandma. I think our dynamic was probably one of the most important ones I ever had in my life. Learning the essence of patience when taking care of her, or having to realize how special I was myself, understanding how I special I was to her. There were so many different ways I was able to learn and grow with her in my life.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
I mean it it wasn’t a death, or moving around a lot, it would also be Crohn’s disease. Having to deal with that has been a great learning experience although it’s been painful at times. Aside from watching what I eat, it surprisingly has taught me a lot about patience and keeping my head calm.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Where are smart people getting it totally wrong today?
Thinking AI is the future of art.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What will you regret not doing?
Doing things my way.
