Meet Ryan – Gordon Jackson of Studio Jackson and Ryan | Jackson Home in Hollywood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan – Gordon Jackson.

Ryan – Gordon, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Being a third-generation designer, my story has roots that go back fairly far. I am the first American born to a family from England and lived in London for a time as a child. My passion for design was born of my background in Art History and was then realized with an internship I took after school at an interiors firm.

I later spent seven years at Magni Design Inc, and then launched my own design firm five years ago. Specializing in high end custom homes and bespoke furniture.

My passion for the designed environment drives me and the space I create.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My road has not been what I expected at all, but one that I have enjoyed immensely along the way. I have been fortunate to have had a few amazing mentors in life and business that have help guide me along the way.

I have always had a clear vision for my designs in homes and furniture as well as my goals

Studio Jackson Inc, a residential interior design firm and Ryan | Jackson Home, a bespoke furniture line which are the brain child of native Angeleno Ryan – Gordon Jackson. With time honored construction methods in his furniture and a refined and detailed approach to interiors, Jackson provides what discerning contemporary minded clients require.

Jackson eye for detail and hands on approach with each client and project set him apart from the rest.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Drive and Commitment to my work.

I knew I would never be out worked or comprise what is true to me in design. In that approach I provide my clients my best while listing to what they require in function and aesthetics.
