Meet Tiffany Wilson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Wilson.

Hi Tiffany, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started as a REALTOR®; my brokerage is The M & M Team Realty, a boutique brokerage specializing in: probate, trust, and divorce sales.  We assist sellers and buyers.  During my career journey with this brokerage, I was introduced to Women’s Council of REALTORS®, an organization that “advances women as business leaders in the industry and in the communities they serve”. Upon becoming a member and attending the events, the President-Elect of the Long Beach network could see my potential as a leader and felt like I would be a great candidate to serve on the governing board. I was appointed to serve as the Membership Director; since then, I’ve been elected to serve a 2nd term.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
If I’m being transparent, I have dealt with an obstacle. I’ve been my worst critic, believing that I did not possess the qualities of an effective leader for a membership-based organization that focuses on leadership enhancement.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Besides assisting my clients with their real estate needs, I serve as the Membership Director for the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Long Beach network. I am responsible for membership retention and recruitment. I attend training sessions, learning and networking events and contribute to business planning. By doing so, it equips me with the right knowledge and tools to help the network’s members succeed with their business endeavors.  Additionally, I foster relationships and build connections within the organization’s network and organization as a whole. What sets me apart from others is that I am very invested and dedicated to our members’ success.

What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is seeing others succeed and thrive. The reason being is because it’s a very rewarding experience and gives me a sense of contentment that is invaluable.
