I immigrated from Italy in 1999. My hometown, Arzignano in Northern Italy, is leather production capital of the world. I am from family of leather tanning experts.
This is all I know. I always loved leather & made it my life commitment to introduce USA market to luxury Italian leather, the best in the world. After 15 years of successful leather supply for companies, who manufactured furniture, shoes and bags, when most of my clients moved their production to China, I decided to change the route. My 1st retail showroom opened in 2012 in Paramus, NJ with 7000 sq. ft. 2d showroom opened almost 3 years ago in Agoura Hills, CA 17000 sq. ft. We present only 100% Made in Italy fine leather furnishings. The members of our young company is like International family now: Italy, Israel, Russia, Armenia. Plans for OC & Silicon Valley are on table. The concept is very simple: the best Italian custom made leather sofas for the best price in USA.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Like in any business mistakes were made, costly and painful. The best thing we did is LISTEN to our clients. We live in contemporary world, where clients need not only comfortable, but also great looking furnishings.
