Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I realized that who I am and where I am is not the result of a series of coincidences. In fact, I acknowledge myself for having the courage to keep my doors and heart wide open.
Hence in years 2016, Tatler Malaysia named LI the Best Value Restaurant in Malaysia and included them in the Top 20 Restaurants in Malaysia in 2021. The desire to serve the community prompted us to open a sister bakery named Provisions in 2019, which is conveniently located just next to LI and the second outlet of Provisions at Mt Kiara (Ooak).
What I have learnt throughout- In life, when you open yourself up, you are capable of achieving what you have envision.
I choose to see possibilities in every situation and also fill my mind with positive thoughts. When things does not go on my way. I took three deep breathe, & constantly switch to what should I do differently next.
I strive to be better every day a little bit more at a time.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being in this journey was an enjoyable roller coaster ride. In fact, these bumpy roads have taught me so much to be who I am today.
Some of the struggles that came along the way were:
– Adapting with the situation and trying to analyze what the needs and wants from our markets.
Asides from that, we have a strong supporters from the communities as well as our regulars.
-Being the face of hospitality for the group, one of the challenges is to strive to maintain quality hospitality service by enforcing respectable customer service standards.
– Getting people to see value in locality.
