Today we’d like to introduce you to C Key.

Hi C Key, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My love for makeup started when a friend of mine “Goo Goo Atkins” did my makeup for a banquet! After that, I was hooked, I followed every YouTube guru I knew to learn how to do my own makeup properly.

Then fast forward to 2009-2010, I had so much makeup it looked like a makeup artist’s kit, lol. After practicing on myself, friends, and even doing makeup for weddings and photoshoots, I was fully confident in this new skill.

In 2012, I started my own YouTube Channel “C Key” to give back the things I learned and was learning to others. After working with many brands such as Colourpop, OfraCosmetics, Makeup Geek, and Mac Cosmetics I decided to start my own cosmetics line………..CKey Cosmetics; and here we are!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Have there been obstacles here and there, yes indeed, but since it is a passion of mine that is what keeps going! My brand is a brand that was birthed to inspire Women to not only follow their dreams but to be confident in who they are while doing so, with a little makeup to enhance their beauty.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I have over 15 years of experience in Finance. However, in the last four years I have solely been overseeing multiple businesses of mine. All of my businesses tie into the fashion/beauty industry and I am able to offer my expertise across the world.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was getting my 1st job at 14!
