Today we’d like to introduce you to Tori.
Tori has been a performer since a young age and has worked in live entertainment since 17 years old. She has worked at theme parks around the world doing live shows and character entertainment as well as stunts and stilt walking. With her mother as a proper “Martha Stewart” type of woman and her Aunt as a fashion designer it’s no wonder she pays such close attention to details in all of her work. Enchanted Celebrations is now becoming one of the most sought after high quality entertainment companies, (especially for character entertainment) in Los Angeles for children’s parties, family events and live show productions. Working with celebrity clients as well as everyday people, Tori is great at helping people produce the most fun for any party or event!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road! It almost never is! The biggest struggle was starting when I was “too young” to be taken seriously. Most people would look at me and assume I was just some kid asking too many questions when I’d want to purchase things or offer entertainment shows or productions. It wasn’t until the past year that people started realizing I had great ideas and it was worthwhile to listen to my opinion. I started with costumes for the characters/ impersonators in my mother’s house/ coat closet and started running it with myself and a friend as the only performers to go to birthday parties.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Enchanted Celebrations story. Tell us more about the business.
Enchanted Celebrations offers top quality entertainment for all of your party needs. We specialize in singing princess parties with a variety of custom package options to make each party a unique and magical experience while you sit back and relax. We also offer a wide variety of other entertainment such as stilt walkers, magicians, face painters, live custom shows, productions and more.
Any planning you need for a small party or a large event, we are able to help! What sets us apart is we take a step back to always have something for that “just in case” so nothing goes wrong, and if it does you won’t have a clue. We take care of all of the stress that comes with planning the party or event. You can sit back and relax and not have to lift a finger while we are there.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
How did luck play a role? I’d like to think of Enchanted Celebrations success not so much as luck, but as we are blessed to be where we are. The word “luck” to me is an inaccurate description as I have put a lot of blood, sweat and tears (literally) into this business; taking the time to sew costume pieces together when they fall apart or make something better than the others that you’ve seen so that specifically when you meet our characters it’s the “real deal” and no questions are asked if it’s a costume or if its real. It takes a lot of time and effort and lots of watching the movies on repeat. My goal is to, sure impress the kids, but if you can impress and convince adults that this is truly this world wide loved fictional character then you have won on every account.
