Today we’d like to introduce you to Mesrob “Mike” Manjikian.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started working with a cousin when I was younger helping him do foundation work. From there I went to work for a construction company and then eventually went out on my own. I love creating and coming up with ideas and helping my clients visions come to life.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Any business has its challenges, in construction the economy has a big effect, at times people don’t want to do major work. That’s why we do jobs of all sizes, no project is too small or too large for us to do. I have had my slower times, but have still keep going for over 20 years so that speaks for itself.
PRC Construction – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
PRC Construction offers full-service general contracting. We are licensed, bonded and insured. I have been in business for over 20 years. I have a great team and we do additions, remodeling, new construction, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, tiling, painting, electrical, plumbing, roofing, patios, and cement work and more. No job is too big or small. We offer free estimates.
Our work speaks for itself. We are very proud of the jobs we do. Our customers call us back for additional jobs.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
In my line of work I find it very important to first come to the job site meet the prospective client and get a feel for what they want done. Some know exactly what they want, but if not am happy to offer suggestions if they are undecided. I take any necessary measurements and notes, then I go do my research for material and labor costs, I try to get a timely bid, this is all dependent on the job size and what’s involved.
I take great pride in what I do and I base my success on how happy the client is with the end result.
