Meet Crystal Victoria

Today we’d like to introduce you to Crystal Victoria.

Crystal, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’m a certified life coach, tv personality, motivational speaker, licensed minister, host of #CrowningSZN, lead wardrobe stylist of Greenville fashion week, writer for insouth Magazine, brand ambassador, and youth director. Honestly, my career was birthed out of heartbreak. I got to a point in life some years ago where I started putting someone before myself and God. I lost myself and I never thought I’d pull out of my broken place, but I got up. I became a Licensed minister first, under the leadership of Bishop Getties Jackson and Co-pastor Anita Jackson at the Kingdom Center. I then I started coaching others on how to build and be better. Through that, I continued to work my retail day job soon after I partnered with Dillard’s for the very first Greenville fashion week. The following year I signed with Greenville fashion week to become the lead wardrobe stylist.

During all of this of course my passion was to uplift others and name them better. I then signed with Dominion.tv for my own Millennial Talk Show #CrowningSZN. CrowningSZN was a created for millennial to have a safe place where they could level up and engage in real life topics. I always had these gifts but it wasn’t until I let go of who I thought I was and who was holding me back before God placed me in a position where I could encourage others. From the Coaching all the way to the fashion everything I do encourages others. I couldn’t encourage anyone if I wasn’t encouraged myself. Not to mention that I worked retail for ten years straight. I remained consistent. My last job With Dillard’s I was under the leadership of Robert Lancaster and Keisha Cole Johnson. They reminded me every shift that I could do more than just clock in for the rest of my life as a part-time associate. I’m thankful and grateful to my parents for always pushing me and siblings always loving me, and my church family for holding me accountable. It was love that lifted me. Pure love.

Has it been a smooth road?
It’s been unbearable and blissful at the same time. Sometimes it’s hard because I feel isolated often, but I know in my heart that it’s necessary. I hear a lot of “no’s” and I’m often overlooked, but I use that as fuel to fuel my journey. My journey is the story. So I let it play out.

Alright – so let’s talk business. What else should we know about you and your career so far?
I’m most proud of my students at church. I lead the youth department and millennial/gen z ministry. Watching them graduate, start new Jobs, go off to college, enter the workforce, go off to the NFL, stand up and pray and love others makes me so proud. If I had the hardest week ever I can always count on seeing them every Sunday morning with the most beautiful smiles and greatest energy I’ve ever experienced. I’m proud of everything else but Because I’m not a mother and I’m single, I feel like they’re my responsibility. I wear that badge with so much pride.
