Meet Charlie Stardom

Today we’d like to introduce you to Charlie Stardom.

Indiana native who began his musical journey at the age of seven. Charlie Stardom would enter himself into talent shows and win majority of them. He kept honing in on his craft and by the age of 16 he joined a group. The group was performing and competing in talent shows around the mid-west regional area. Upon graduating high school, Charlie quickly realized that college was not for him. His professors even told him, he needs to pursue music full time. Focusing solely on his music career, Charlie started to use the power of the internet. Reaching out to other talented individuals to collaborate with. One particular collaboration that shaped his career was with Grammy-nominated producer, Bizness Boi. Charlie moved to Atlanta where Biz was residing, but that was short-lived; as Biz was making a move to Los Angeles. Shortly after Charlie joined Biz in LA. This move was a pivotal point in Charlies career as within just one year he was writing for the likes of Eric Bellinger and Jake & Papa. He has now added to his writing credits, working with the likes of Maurice Moore, Anthony Russo, JYDN. Along with background vocal for Justine Skye, Symphani Soto, Xavier Omar and many others. Charlie’s current focus is his new EP, due this fall and album, due in 2020.

Has it been a smooth road?
It was not a smooth road. There have been many ups and downs. Often times, it felt like there are more downs than ups, but I kept pushing through all of the rejections and roadblocks. For months I didn’t even have a place to call home. I was sleeping in cars and still pursuing and perfecting my craft with 100% faith.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I am a singer-songwriter and vocal producer. I specialize in harmonies. I am most unknown for my timeless music. My most proud moment is overcoming my obstacles of the struggles I mentioned earlier and getting placements with major label artist while remaining independent. The thing that sets me apart from others is my personality, vocal range, and vocal style.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see new sounds being accepted by the masses. A shift in the entire industry, where only real music will be widely accepted again.
