Dusty Roze , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
WITH HER FRIST FASHION INTERNSHIP AT 15 & NO FORMAL EDUCATION PRIOR TO ATTENDING FIDM, JASSO QUICKLY PROVED SHE HAD A TALENT AND FERVOR FOR FASHION DESIGN. RECEIVED THREE, FULL YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS FROM GUESS INC. SCHOLARS PROGRAM & WAS A FINALIST FOR THE FIDM NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION. JASSO GRADUATED FIDM IN 2017 WITH A B.A IN FASHION DESGIN.

JASSO HALLMARK AS A DESIGNER IS HER ABILITY TO TELL A STORY IN HER DESIGNS. WITH EACH GARMENT EVOKING AN EMOTION TO CREATE THE PERFECT BALANCE BETWEEN ART, FASHION, & Emotion .

JASSO HAS SHOWCASED HER DESIGNS AT FIDM DEBUT 2016 AND WAS A FINALIST IN THE SUPIMA DESIGN COMPETITION 2016, SHOW CASING AT NYFW 2016.

Jasso has worked in corporate fashion & toy design for the. last 1o years with brands such as Guess Jeans, MGA Entertainment , Naked Wardrobe, & Selkie.

Lunching the Haus of Jasso in 2020, Jasso rebranded in 2025 and relaunched the HAUZ of DUST. HAUZ of DUST which offers premier couture garments & custom design services in all categories of fashion. Keeping art in the for front of fashion with Jasso’s dramatic, edgy, glamours & whimsical designs, From illustration /design, CAD/fashion flats, tech packs, sourcing, trend forecasting, garment construction, pattern making, tailoring, sewing, collection development, styling, merchandizing, etc.garments have been featured on clients including Lushious Massacr, A.N.T.M, & Patrick Starrr. Also, offering freelance services to brand and clients such as Johnny Wujek, TOMS, The Beverly Center, & DRIP

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Fashion is never a smooth road it’s a rollercoaster. You have to love the twist and turns. Launching my brand its really learning how to wear all the hats from creative doriector to seamstress, designer, artist, pattern maker, product development, sourcing, tech designer, marketing etc. To the non-fun side, the “HR” of it all. Fashion has forever been changing. With Covid took that and turned up the speed by 100. The customer, market, economy, shopping habits, how we interact with products and the zigize is drastically shifting. With in the struggles you do learn the most, The fulfillment I have is when the “rain” has allowed the lessons of life to bloom into an abundant garden. “The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain” -Dolly Parton

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As an artist at my corse what sets me apart. What im most know for is my Illustration skills and creating original concepts. I can render the vision I haven my mind and create exactly what in on paper into reality taking a “dream world” and making something tangible and 3-D. Using my own life as inspiration. As a trans women I pull a lot from queer culture like drag. I really love taking extremely opposites in themes, design details, and styling. To create something new. I loveeee high fem, glamour, with a dark edgy undertone.

I am most proud of the wedding dress I have made. Thats also what I specialize in high couture, designing a one of a kind gown for the bride to match her style & soul. I am truly in love with bridal, I love playing the Fariy godmother, cause its more then just understand good design its understanding the emotion behind it and the bride to be.

I love the diversity that causes for no lack of inspiration. The least honestly … the trafic lol
