Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalia Adriana.
Natalia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I began my tattooing and art career around 2022. Right before I was finishing my bachelors degree, I got the amazing opportunity to learn how to tattoo through an apprenticeship.
After two hardworking years, I was able to become a resident artist at Queens of Needles in the SFV right after my apprenticeship. During my time here, Ive specialized in Neotraditional tattoos.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As someone who has severe anxiety, I would say the biggest struggle is believing in myself to keep creating. Aside from online and real life haters, imposter syndrome in my own brain makes me believe my ideas are good enough to be created sometimes. Although anxiety can speak loudly to me at times, i’m blessed to have such a small but mighty group of friends and loved ones who believe in me and my art.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a tattoo artist who specialized in Neotraditional tattoos. I love building patchwork sleeves with bold line and smooth shading and maybe a pop of color. I love to base my tattoo designs off romantic mystical moods.
Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5-10 years, I hope to be traveling to different cities and states sharing my tattoo designs. With a career like tattooing, I can really take it anywhere I want to go. I hope to be able to connect with people who want my designs. I find it such a special moment when someone relates to a feeling I decided to draw one day.
