Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Haskins.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I grew up in a rough household, constantly moving towns, adapting to different environments. I was always into fashion but got big into it when I turned 15. Me and my buddy would talk about creating a YouTube channel called “HighOnSociety” when we turned 21 and make it a marijuana strain-reviewing channel. The next year I full sent and dropped my first clothing, then just kept going on from there. Meeting artists, other brand owners, even meeting legalized weed brands that gave me pointers in how to get more publicity for my clothing.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I faced a lot of personal struggles with doubt in myself, when I went homeless I went mia socially forever then popped back up and tried to keep up with the pace of social media. Between losing friends and family and having to cut off others I just constantly felt I couldn’t focus my time on my brand.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a clothing brand that focuses on nothing but my community, I specialize in advertising and being able to direct promotional videos.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
Shout-out to my girlfriend and my close friends, without them I would’ve lost focused and could’ve de-railed multiple times.
