Conversations with Sarah Espinosa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Espinosa.

Hi Sarah, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
A young woman who moved across the world years ago to chase her dreams. Today, she’s still dreaming, still building, and still living life to the fullest.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like every big dream, my journey has been filled with moments of doubt, fear, and loneliness. Those emotions have been part of the process, but when I look back at everything I’ve overcome, I can honestly say it has all been worth it.

Life will always have its ups and downs, that’s what makes the journey meaningful. Along the way, I learned to appreciate the process instead of only focusing on the destination.

The challenges you face every day are inevitable, but you can choose how you respond to them. You’ll go through those moments regardless, so you might as well face them with hope instead of fear. Always do your best, stay positive, and keep moving forward. When you finally reach your goals, you’ll realize that every struggle, every sacrifice, and every lesson was worth it.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’ve always been drawn to creative work. Over the years, I’ve worked as a dancer, choreographer, creative director, and model. Dance has taken me around the world, allowing me to connect with incredible people and express myself through movement and it’s still a huge part of my life and career.

At the same time, I’m also a fine line tattoo artist. Tattooing has become another way for me to express my creativity and connect with people on a more personal level. Just as dance allows me to share my art with audiences around the world, tattooing lets me leave a meaningful and lasting piece of my work with each person I meet.

For me, creativity has never been limited to one category. Whether I’m dancing, choreographing, creating, or tattooing, my goal is always the same: to inspire, connect, and keep growing as an artist.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I don’t have just one favorite podcast, I usually listen to different ones depending on what I want to learn or what my mood is at the time. Lately, I’ve been enjoying Friends Keep Secrets. As someone who works in the dance, music, and creative industries, I love hearing people’s stories and learning about the journeys that shaped their careers. I find those conversations both inspiring and relatable.

When it comes to books, a few that have had a real impact on me are “The Four Agreements” and “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck*” by Mark Manson . Right now, I’m reading “Anything Can Be Healed: The Body Mirror System of Healing with Chakras”by Martin Brofman., and I’m really enjoying it.

I also make time for guided meditation. It’s become an important part of my routine because it helps me stay grounded, clear my mind, and reconnect with myself, especially when life gets busy.
