Daily Inspiration: Meet Shannon, Sam, Jiya, and Teagan of Tomorrow’s Anthem

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shannon, Sam, Jiya, and Teagan

We appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Tomorrow’s Anthem is an All-Girl band from Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The band stared in 2018, and eight years later, we still have all originals members of the band. Eight years ago we were all taking music lessons at the same place and we eventually formed friendships that transitioned into band mates.. Starting at the young age of 9, 10, 10 and 11 years old, we have come a long way in our music journey.
As four young girls, we started out by covering songs that we liked to listen to. Now we are young women writing, recording and producing our own sound and music. We have played on several iconic stages all over California, Utah, Colorado, Texas and Arizona. Our focus now is creating Anthemic, Rock music with undertones of Blues and Heavy Rock.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As with any band, there are always obstacles and challenges. For Tomorrow’s Anthem we have grown up together and we have carefully, navigated several life stages. Our style, music, goals, interests have evolved/changed; however, our love for music and performing has always remained a solid foundation for the band.
We are currently in high school and college, so trying to find time to make the band a priority can sometimes be a scheduling nightmare. Despite the complexity of “band life”, we have always kept our focus on music and friendship.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Tomorrow’s Anthem is a Rock band that has been performing and making music for over eight years. When we hit the stage, you will instantly see the energy, chemistry, friendship and tightness of the band. Our sound leans heavy on guitar riffs/intonation.; coupled with Powerhouse Vocals. The Drums and Bass are driving it all together. Tomorrow’s Anthem is about playing real music with real instruments. We currently have three songs released on all platforms: Faces of You, Lose Yourself, and Wrong. On YouTube we have a song called Panic that is released. Also on YouTube we have several music videos and band interviews.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The success of Tomorrow’s Anthem stems from the pure drive that the band members have. Despite all of “life challenges” we are determined to grow and reach as many people as possible with our music. Additionally we are creating music that we feel is a reflection of our sound. We have a quality over quantity mentality that will always be at our core. Each member of the band is uniquely talented and can play multi-instruments. When performing on stage, we will often switch our instruments around with each other. This is something we have always done and we still incorporate it into our current shows.

Recently, we played at the Girlactic Music Festival at the iconic, Whisky A-Go Go, Hollywood. This Festival was organized by Kitten Kay and the entire night was filled with women only bands. Additionally, Tomorrow’s Anthem will be featured on Women Who Rock platform. It is shows like these that continue to support women in the music industry.
