Life & Work with Jamie Gordon

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamie Gordon.

Hi Jamie, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started as a licensed nurse, but I always knew healing went deeper than what conventional medicine could offer. That knowing led me to astrology and herbalism, and eventually to building Sip · Eat · Heal, a cosmic wellness brand that brings all of those worlds together.

I am a certified astrologer specializing in Astrocartography & Birthday Readings Aka Solar Return Readings , A certified herbalist, a CNA instructor, and I am currently pursuing my MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at the Sophia Centre, University of Wales Trinity Saint David. I am a leader within a spiritual community called H.O.M.E. I create content across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube to make astrology and holistic wellness accessible to real people.

What started as a passion has grown into readings, a Teaching Astrology Deck on the way, digital education, and an upcoming mobile drink concept called Cosmic Concoctions. I built this by showing up, trusting my gifts, and believing that my story was worth telling..

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road at all. I am neurodivergent and making this kind of pivot later in life comes with its own set of challenges that people do not always talk about. On top of that, I have been navigating some very real personal transits that have tested me mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually all at the same time.

But honestly, that is exactly why I am so determined. I have lived through enough to know that people need real tools for taking care of themselves, not just physically but on every level. Astrology gave me a language for understanding why things are happening, how I naturally think and operate, where I am going, and how long a hard season is actually going to last. Herbalism gave me the practical, natural support to get through it. I want other people to have access to both of those things because it changes everything. I keep the Most High aka God first!!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a certified astrologer, a certified herbalist, a licensed nurse with 28 years in the healthcare field, and the founder of Sip · Eat · Heal, a cosmic wellness brand built around the integration of astrology, herbalism, and holistic living. Not only do I teach astrology, I also teach in the healthcare field as a healthcare vocational instructor. I create content across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube to make astrology and holistic wellness accessible to real people, and I am currently pursuing my MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at the Sophia Centre, University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

What sets me apart is that I do not just teach astrology in isolation. I bring it together with plant medicine, spiritual practice, and real healthcare knowledge in a way that very few people are doing. I hold credentials in multiple healing disciplines and my work is grounded in both serious academic study and lived spiritual experience.

What I am most proud of is showing up consistently for my community, completing 52 + weeks of content, and building something real from scratch. I am currently in the process of getting the Sip · Eat · Heal Teaching Astrology Deck published, a 118-card educational tool I created to make astrology hands-on and tangible. Alongside that, I am working toward opening a wellness center that will bring everything I do under one roof, a full cosmic wellness experience that includes Cosmic Concoctions, an herbal apothecary, astrology classes, cooking classes, and real practical tools for helping people learn how to live holistically. Everything I am building is pointing toward that space where people can come, learn, heal, and walk away with a whole new relationship to their body, their chart, and their life.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Persistence knowing my Destiny and God. I have been neurodivergent my whole life, navigating systems and spaces that were not built for the way my mind works or as a women of color in the astrological space, and I kept going anyway. I spent 28 years in healthcare showing up for other people, and now I am channeling that same dedication into building something that is entirely my own. There have been seasons where it would have been very easy to quit, to decide that the pivot was too hard or that it was too late to start over. But I genuinely believe in what I am building and I believe that the people who need this work deserve for me to see it through. That belief is what keeps me consistent, and consistency is what has built everything I have so far.
