An Inspired Chat with Eve Richards of Beverly Hills

We recently had the chance to connect with Eve Richards and have shared our conversation below.

Eve, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What is a normal day like for you right now?
My day starts very early, often before the city awakens. I carve out a few quiet minutes for meditation, centering myself and setting the tone for what’s ahead. A light snack, usually yogurt or a banana, fuels me for my morning workout—a cornerstone of my routine and lately tailored to preparing for an upcoming movie role. After training, I shower and shift into the creative and professional part of my day. Lunch is light, often a salad with salmon, and I like to step outside for a walk around Will Rogers Park in Beverly Hills, enjoying the fresh air and a moment of calm. Back home, I catch up on emails, respond to calls, and handle any pressing work. Dinner comes early, followed by a little downtime—watching a favorite show or reading to unwind. Before bed, I follow a simple night routine, washing my face and meditating again, closing the day with calm intention before turning off the lights.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Eve Richards, an actress and creative entrepreneur passionate about telling stories that inspire and captivate. I recently wrapped filming on my latest project, Straight Shot, on August 22, and I’m thrilled that A Line of Fire will be released by Sony on September 2 as pay-per-view, with a Netflix worldwide premiere set for December. Through my production company, Eve Richards Film Production, I focus on projects that combine compelling storytelling with strong, dynamic characters. What makes my brand unique is the way I balance creativity with strategy, bringing both artistic vision and business insight to every project. Right now, I’m also preparing to speak at the Skills4Startups® Global Business Roadshow & International Brand Exchange, sharing insights about building a brand, scaling creative ventures, and connecting with audiences in meaningful ways. At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to growth, reinvention, and creating work that resonates with people around the world.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
The people who taught me the most about work are my parents. My mom, a judge, and my dad, a lawyer, showed me the value of discipline, integrity, and dedication from a very young age. Watching them navigate complex challenges with focus and fairness instilled in me a strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility that I carry into every project I take on.

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
When my dad passed away unexpectedly in 2023, I realized I wanted to create something meaningful that could inspire and connect with others. That moment led me to launch The Discovery Pod With Eve, a space where I dive into stories of reinvention, resilience, and personal growth with incredible guests—from thought leaders and entrepreneurs to actors and rising voices. It’s a platform designed to spark honest conversations, share lessons learned, and offer practical insights that listeners can take into their own lives and careers. Turning personal loss into a space for connection and empowerment helped me transform grief into purpose and action.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what matters most to me is being authentic and honest in every part of my life. They know I value kindness, caring for others, and staying grounded no matter what’s happening around me. For me, relationships and genuine connection always come first, and I try to live in a way that reflects those values every day.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope the story people tell about me is one of authenticity, courage, and compassion. I want to be remembered as someone who pursued her passions wholeheartedly, lifted others along the way, and used her voice to inspire growth and resilience. More than anything, I hope they see that I lived with intention, stayed true to myself, and made a meaningful, positive impact on the people and world around me.
