Humble Beginnings

Tammy’s Treasure was founded in 2019, fueled by Tammy’s lifelong passion for fashion and keen eye for trendy styles. As a violinist, she honed her fashion sense from a young age, meticulously analyzing trends and cultivating her taste. Her stylish attire often drew compliments and requests from friends and colleagues, seeking advice on where to purchase similar pieces.

In April 2020, amidst the global pandemic, Tammy transformed a room in her Fullerton home into a treasure trove of fashion, offering a unique “one-stop shop” experience. The business, initially called “Tammy’s Closet,” quickly gained traction through word-of-mouth recommendations.

Remarkable Growth and Expansion

As demand grew, Tammy’s business expanded to occupy her entire living space. In March 2022, the overwhelming success led to the opening of the first physical store in La Mirada, California. Despite the challenging times for many businesses during the pandemic, Tammy’s Treasure experienced remarkable growth, attributing it to God’s grace.

A Welcoming Space for All

Prioritizing inclusivity, Tammy envisioned the store as a cozy haven offering diverse styles for everyone, regardless of age. This vision resonated with customers, attracting a loyal following from Orange County and beyond.

Expanding Offerings and Services

In July 2023, Tammy’s Treasure opened a dedicated golf and sportswear store in Carrollton, Texas. This was followed by the grand opening of the third store in Las Vegas, Nevada in March 2024.

“In the beginning, operating out of my home during the pandemic had its own set of hurdles—managing inventory in limited space, coordinating appointments, and scaling operations while maintaining the personal touch that made us special.”

Current Economic Headwinds:

“More recently, we’ve faced significant challenges with the current economic climate. Our business model relies on importing high-quality fashion directly from Korea, which means we’ve been heavily impacted by tariff increases and currency fluctuations. These cost pressures have made it harder to maintain our competitive pricing while preserving the quality our customers expect.”

Navigating Uncertainty:

“We’re working hard to stay resilient in this market—exploring ways to optimize our supply chain, being strategic about inventory, and doubling down on the personalized service and unique curation that set us apart. While we’re definitely looking forward to better economic conditions, we’re using this time to strengthen our foundation and deepen our customer relationships.”
