Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with El Santo Del Valle

We’re looking forward to introducing you to El Santo Del Valle. Check out our conversation below.

Hi El Santo, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What is a normal day like for you right now?
Right now, a normal day for me starts early. I wake up and head to work in construction. While I’m working, I’m constantly thinking about music — ideas hit me while I’m lifting, sweating, or just grinding through the day. The pain and exhaustion from the job actually inspire me. It reminds me why I’m doing this and gives my music that real, honest energy

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name’s El Santo Del Valle — I’m a Mexican American artist who blends storytelling, pain, and pride into my music. I come from working construction, so everything I make comes from real struggle and real effort. My brand is about representing my people, showing that you can rise from the dirt and still move with style and soul. Right now, I’m focused on building my world — visually, musically, and spiritually — and putting out music that carries both my culture and my truth.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
My pops taught me the most about work. I’ve been around construction since I was a kid, and he showed me what real hustle looks like — showing up every day, communicating, working as a team, and staying organized. The same way we organize materials on the job, I organize sounds, vocals, and features when I’m building a song.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yeah, last year. I hit a point where everything felt heavy — life, work, music. I almost gave up, but that moment reminded me why I started. I turned the pain into fuel and kept going

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
I admire Rey Mysterio — not just for what he did in the ring, but for who he is as a person. Even though he was smaller than most, he stood tall through heart, respect, and pride. He really represented the culture and showed me that you don’t have to be the biggest to make an impact.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m in the studio creating and just being myself. In there, I don’t have to fit into society — I fit into me. That’s my space to breathe, to think, and to be real
