Hi Natanya, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?

Natanya is originally from New York and moved out to Los Angeles with her mother to pursue her acting career after landing the role of Laura on the ABC series Billy which aired on the TGIF line up. Natanya went on to star in many films and television shows with memorable appearances on ER, Beverly Hills 90210, Step by Step, Boy Meets World and films such as The Babysitters Club, Bellyfruit, ShadowZone’s Undead Express and Freaky Friday. Natanya won 2 Youth in Film awards for Best Supporting Actress for The Secret World of Alex Mack and Best Supporting Actress for The Babysitters Club and was nominated 3 years consecutively. Natanya was also nominated 3 years consecutively for the Young Star Awards as outstanding Supporting Actress in a television series for The Secret World of Alex Mack. Natanya has recently produced the reunion special of the 90’s hit series and cult classic Nickelodeon show The Secret World of Alex Mack and completed a short film titled “Time inside’ in 2017. More recently Natanya starred in the short film “Wrath Mercy” in 2023 which went on to win multiple awards in the festival circuit. Natanya travels the country appearing at meet and greets to be able to meet her fans as well as appears on many podcasts and red carpet appearances. The other side of Natanya’s life is that for the last 17 years she has worked in the Substance abuse and Mental Health space advocating for those suffering and struggling. Throughout her 17 years in that industry she has also sat on the board of many non profits organizations, and created her own non profit “San Fernando Valley feed the homeless” which offers a meal and some hope for those who are without food and shelter to those on the streets of Los Angeles most specifically the San Fernando Valley. SFV feed the homeless was founded in 2013 and has fed over half a million people to date. During COVID Natanya joined forces with “Hope of the valley” to raise enough money to sponsor 3 tiny homes which allows for someone to come off the streets and into the shelter of a safe tiny home. The shining moment of Natanya’s career in the Mental Health space was joining the board of WAAT (Women’s association of addiction) and has sat as the President and CEO for the last 7 years.
Natanya, now 43 years old has decided to make a full comeback to acting and is represented by Shanelle Gray at Complete Management. Natanya resides in Burbank, Ca with her Boyfriend fellow actor Nate Richert and their dog Bill.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I battled a drug and alcohol addiction for the majority of my 20s. Went to treatment for the final time at 30 years old which is what originally inspired me to start working in treatment.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Everything is covered In my bio I included in the first Question

Any big plans?
My plans for the future are to hopefully start working consistently in the entertainment industry as an actor or personality again. To settle down and buy a house with my boyfriend and have as many dogs running around as Nate will let me
