Hi Anastasia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My Journey to Anafoxbeauty
My story began not in a glamorous spa, but with a suitcase in one hand, my daughter in the other, and a heart full of determination. I came to New York from Ukraine as a young mother and a former nurse, ready to build a new life from the ground up. I didn’t speak English, but I spoke the universal language of care – and I knew I had something to give.
Even during my nursing career, I was always drawn to beauty. I would watch the way women lit up when they felt good in their skin and wondered how that kind of confidence was created. Back in 2006, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in beauty school -and that decision changed everything.
I quickly discovered that I wasn’t just passionate about skincare – I was meant to help people feel seen, held, and radiant. I realized that the people behind the glowing skin of models and actors were estheticians like me – professionals who combine skill with soul to bring out the best in others.
After moving to Los Angeles almost a decade ago, I began rebuilding again – this time with more vision, more heart, and a deeper understanding of healing. When the pandemic hit, it challenged all of us, but it also gave me the clarity to create something meaningful. That’s when Anafoxbeauty was born.
Anafoxbeautyis not just a beauty studio – it’s a healing space where I blend holistic skincare, intuitive touch, and energy work like Reiki. My background in both medicine and aesthetics allows me to care for clients in a truly integrative way.
I also began formulating my own clean skincare line – including my FDA-compliant mineral sunscreen, created to protect without harsh chemicals. Every ingredient is chosen with intention, and every product is made to support the skin and soul in harmony.
Today, Anafoxbeauty reflects everything I’ve lived through: resilience, reinvention, and the deep joy of helping others feel beautiful – inside and out.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all – it’s been anything but smooth. But I truly believe the struggles shaped me into the healer and business owner I am today.
When I first came to the U.S. from Ukraine, I barely spoke English and had to start completely over. I had both a medical and beauty background, but none of my qualifications transferred here. That meant I had to rebuild everything from scratch – emotionally, financially, and professionally – all while raising my daughter in a new country.
There were moments of deep doubt, isolation, and fear. I had to let go of the life I knew and reinvent myself entirely. Going back to school later in life wasn’t easy, especially in a new language and while juggling motherhood. But I always had a strong inner mission: to help people feel beautiful, not just on the outside, but in their spirit too.
The pandemic was another challenge that tested me deeply. Like many others in the beauty world, I had to pause everything. But that pause gave me clarity – and Anafoxbeauty became something more than just skincare. It became a sanctuary, a healing space where I could combine my medical knowledge, intuitive gifts, and love for holistic beauty.
The road has been full of twists, but every step has brought me closer to my purpose – and for that, I’m grateful.

I specialize in integrative facial treatments that combine professional skincare techniques with nurturing, spiritual care. My clients don’t just come in for glowing skin -they come in to feel seen, relaxed, and restored on every level.
I offer a range of organic and clinical facials, including Korean facial modalities, signature facial massage, brow + lash services, Reiki healing, and intuitive skin therapy. Every treatment is customized to the client’s skin type, energy, and emotional state. I blend science and soul in each session, often incorporating modalities like microcurrent, lymphatic drainage, and crystal therapy for deeper healing.
What sets Anafoxbeauty apart is my unique background: I’m a former nurse and a licensed holistic esthetician. This gives me the ability to care for clients both physically and energetically. I deeply understand skin function, but I also understand the nervous system, trauma, and how emotions can affect the skin. That’s why each session becomes a full-body, mind, and soul experience.
I’m also proud to offer my own clean skincare line, including my FDA-compliant mineral sunscreen – created with safe, non-toxic ingredients to protect and nourish all skin types. I believe skincare should be simple, effective, and rooted in integrity.
