Meet Eric Fox of efoxx HAIR

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Fox.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Eric. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was born, raised and trained in Los Angeles, CA where I was inspired by the vast diversity of art and culture. From a young age, art played an important role in my life, from music to painting and hair color. After being introduced to members of the Sebastian artistic team I fell in love with hair. The ability to create an ever-changing canvass gave me endless possibilities and a craft that could support my life.

Through the years I have been fortunate to meet many great inspiring artists and have a career in hair that has taken me from New York to Las Vegas and even Indonesia. After more than two decades of shaping my craft at academies such as Sassoon, Sebastian, and Goldwell I co-founded and lead efoxx HAIR.

My hope is to pass my knowledge to the next generation. Helping achieve superior artistry through education and high-quality service”

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Our main “bump” in the road was losing staff. We were fortunate enough to have built relationships and guide some the best artists in Los Angeles but came to a time where we had to say goodbye.

Though we’ve watched our past stylists develop, blossom and eventually find their own path we can’t help but feel proud and excited to continue our mission. With them in mind the next generation of great artists here to grow and master their craft!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with efoxx HAIR – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
efoxx HAIR is a boutique salon located in the heart of Sherman Oaks. We have been open for over 6 years and just recently partnered up with Green Circle Salons in an effort to reduce our carbon footprint to help better the planet by recycling our used foils, excess hair colors, and even hair.

We offer a full range of hair services and keep up to date with the latest hair trends by having our artists collaborate in weekly training classes to develop and maintain their skills. Our approach is to train and cultivate great artists that understand our values as a salon to make an unforgettable salon experience for our clients.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Through our first few years of growth, we have learned what you put in is what you get out. We strive for the best in education and believe that through our education system change will always come. Over the next year, we will build our team to be a leading “go to” group for education throughout our industry.
