Today we’d like to introduce you to Archangel Smiley

Hi Archangel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I would first like to say I’m honored to be here. I was Born September of 1987, 5 months early. Extremely humble beginnings like many where I’m from. Family breakups, murder, sexual assault, and emotional deprivation. Unfortunate circumstances led my spirit to Compton. By this time I’m 8, and my life was amazing until 17. By 19 I was homeless, and at 21 I joined the Navy. I went from surviving in Compton to standing in front of the Great Pyramid of Giza. I lived a life as a true pirate in this incarnation. 12 years and 4 Deployments later, greed and desires ended my career and led to my career crucifixion at the tender age of 33. I’m now 37, I’ve spent majority of my life in fear; fear of being seen. Early childhood traumas and radical shifts through adolescence developed beliefs and desires I projected on my scope of the world which allowed bridges to burn and people I love to turn their light out.

Nothing in my life was working. I began to question myself which led me to writing my thoughts down in a journal. Creating set times for myself allowed a stillness in me to return. Journaling led me to finding my first spiritual guides; or teachers if it’s better for you. They gave me permission to heal myself and share my experiences with you.

For the past three years, I’ve noticed entities of energy through my meditative practices. I combine a unique activation into the present moment, using the physical body, music, and awareness to tap into the creative space The Universe wants humans to experience.

Meditation has saved my life and countless others but it’s not taught, especially the culture I come from. Through my podcast I want to help shift that narrative of tough to triumphant, from ego to emotional intelligent, from worthless to warrior within. I don’t believe in coincidences that my Mother named me Archangel. I was born 3lbs 7oz.

Not only was I meant to be here, I’m arriving at my authentic self right on divine timing.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing in Life is smooth. That’s life and I’m grateful for the flow, even when it was rough.

I’m more interested in who I show up as now, and how I can serve others, especially the youth.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
This incarnation has taken to through the lowest of lows and the highest of highs all around the world. Starting The ArchAngel Smiley Podcast was a calling. Putting out content on social media promoting meditation, self healing, trauma solutions, and creative expression.

I’m most proud of being able to awaken into my authentic self for my children. Having daughters while taking radical accountability of who I was, and most Importantly wasn’t, forced me to deal with the inner trauma and unhealthy living. Dealing with alcohol my entire adult life, I’ve identified it as a thinking problem. Dealing with my sexual desires allowed me to recognize my sexual childhood trauma and forgive myself. Coping with the loss of my Mother at 25 from a Hero’s Journey perspective, opened up my soul to its rightful feminine light.

I want to grow my Broadcast and share my story and art with the world. I believe it’s my Human service to open my heart to the collective consciousness at this moment. What sets me apart is my unique drop in in this incarnation, how I’ve navigated myself to every continent (with the exception of Antarctica), and how the universe has body slammed me into complete stillness, service, and loving awareness.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck and faith has kept me alive. I also have to attribute The Universe has always guided me to right where I’m at now, despite the movie which is my life. Some bad luck, though I don’t like to look at things as bad or good, has brought me tough lessons and tougher tears. Anything that has happened to me was and has been happening for me. We as humans were given the gift of divinity to experience unconditional love through the conditions we’ve given ourselves.
