Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Overcoming imposter syndrome along with battling the negative thoughts of failure.

I have always struggled with having enough confidence to really pursue my goals full on.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m currently working as a fashion stylist. I recently joined I.S.A.T.S.E 705 as a customer.

I consider myself a Fashion Artist. Clothing is the muse in which I create my art. I love styling clothing to tell stories and capture moments in time.

I’m known for my Afrofuturist Aesthetic which is evident in my personal projects.

I’m most proud of being published in multiple magazines in 1 year of making it a goal to be published.

I have a strong drive to work hard. I’m constantly seeking knowledge on my craft and ways to improve my skills. Music is the main inspiration for my creativity.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
I’ve had many influences in my journey. Costumer Katherine Wright helped me land my first job as a Costumes PA. Where I learned a lot from Costume Designers I’ve worked for including Paolo Nieddu, Patrik Napoleone Milani, Agatha Maszkiewicz. And Serrita Coleman. My first Costume Supervisor Mary Lane guided me through my journey as a PA which leads to me joining the union as a Customer.

I cherish every one of my supporters. My sisters Shondra, Ayesha and Latifah. My parents. My childhood friends who held me accountable Shacora, Hadiyah and Badia. My good friends and fellow creatives Thomas Lamont and Olaimiposi
