Rising Stars: Meet Angelique Beasley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angelique Beasley.

Hi Angelique, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
April of 2018 A wife and mother of four at the time and 1 on the way. I decided that it was time for me to live not only for myself but for my family as well. I had went to Blaine’s Beauty and Career School Downtown Boston Massachusetts in 2004 and had already been doing hair in local shops and at home for years also enter grating Home Care for seniors and lots of sales and telecommunications jobs and even driving lyft. Anything to keep food on the table and bills paid, but at the time I realized my family needed me home more both parents could not be gone all day with a family so big! I needed to be home and still manage to stream multiple streams of income so I decided to do hair from home and started a boutique called Vanitiez Boutique. “Vanitiez” because what you see in a mirror is the perfect image of yourself and I wanted people to feel the same way when they received any services or merchandise from me. By the summer of 2018 I had designed my own line and started selling, receiving a lot of sales and positive feedback but with any new business, any entrepreneur knows that you dish out way more than you make in the beginning but that still didn’t stop me.

I just wanted to get my name out there and finally live my dreams and I always wanted to be a fashion designer so, I was doing what I love and by 2020 in the beginning of the pandemic everything was closing down and I was determined that I would not let my family feel the raft of this. So .y husband and myself opened Vanitiez The Soul Food Boss and we used our families recipes to do so at this time restaurants were either closed or only doing takeout so I instantly did the same thing and Snapchat was my biggest platform so I used it for my advantage. We had people driving from all over different states and we delivered also, we have everything from pecan ducks to our Award Winning Heat and Serve Collard Greens available with your choice of meat or vegan choice is yours. Now I had Formed Beauty Fashion Food one stop shop for all your needs, I named it Vanitiez Boutique Shop&Spa. In 2021, I moved to Maryland and had my 6 sons but continued my journey stronger than ever I have been able to take Vanitiez Shoe Collection over to Turin Italy 🇮🇹 and also New York Fashion Week 2022. I was able to expand and network with top manufacturers so I have expanded into handbags and accessories with way more to come! Vaniti’ez Soul Greens have massive amounts of grocery store inquiries so we are working and making sure everything is done to perfection!

I recently just wrote my Autobiography Crying Is A Weakness, written by me published by Christian Faith Publishing Company that will be available at Barnes and Noble Amazon iTunes and more Hard Copy and Ebook and Audio! More than anything I got to where I am today because of God who is the maker and creator of my life so prayer obedience discernment is my main key after that everything flows the way it needs to in my life. As of today, I will continue to be the best woman I can be creating lots of avenues and doors opened for my family and generations to come breaking generational curses “that starts with your form of thinking” I’m thinking big I’m thinking beyond the capacity of this world at the moment and I hope you do too!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being a mom of 6 Nothing is ever smooth don’t get me wrong you will have good days and bad days u will have days where u make lots of money as an entrepreneur and days u will not make a dollar and those have become some of my biggest struggles as an entrepreneur while raising a big family, especially in the times we are in right now with the inflation of everything, but creating multiple streams of income is important and something we must do, saving and budgeting is a plus and marketing to the right people is just as worthy the options are endless when u want to bring your company to another level don’t just use one platform or base yourself around social media there are so many stores and companies that are looking for new ideas and products, and I think that what I struggled with in the past not knowing my worth now I exceed the normal way of thinking! I feel I can do all things!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do? What are you most proud of? What sets you apart from others?
I specialize in Beauty Fashion and Food, I am the one stop shop for all your needs, giving people the confidence to be the best version of themselves, I am known for my wonderful personality and hospitality the warm meals that are cooked with love and family everyone knows I love family and loyalty, I’m most proud of the woman I Am and becoming I literally came from a broken dark place in my life and made something out of nothing, I’m Proud of where I’m going, what sets me apart from others is that I really engage with just me my kids my husband and my businesses and God I don’t make room or have room for anything other than that so I have what it take to stay focus at all times and that obedience is what sets me apart because I can not be distracted I’m in my own lane that I created and I love it!

I thank God, my Husband Darnel and my Sons Romeo Bryan Amir DJ Legend and Symphony-Divine they play the biggest role in my Sucess!
