Meet Vicky Thomas of Rev It Up! Hypnosis Centers in Antelope Valley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vicky Thomas.

Vicky, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
In 1998, yes, 19 years ago, I was just getting ready to begin studying for my bachelors in Psychology. I received a mailer for a hypnosis training, and thought, well how interesting! I took a weekend certification class and never looked back!

I first began with my own clinic, helping weight-loss, smoking cessation and stress clients, and soon realized these “symptoms” were often accompanied by other problems. So I kept learning, doing, and learning some more.

Literally thousands of clients have come through my doors and had amazing successes. I’m so glad I stumbled into that first training!

I now run between 1 and 3 clinics (sometimes more, sometimes only my home clinic in the Antelope Valley.) I also train in hypnosis for the National Guild, The Master Hypnotist Society, The American Board, and several NLP organizations, too. I teach others how to succeed in their business so that they can go on to help many thousands too.

My tag line, “Why Dream Ordinary?” says it all.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a fairly smooth road! 2008, when the rest of the country was in a huge slump was concerning, but I and several of my students continued to help others, therefore success was more effort, but still considered a successful business. That has been useful in helping others to recognize changes in the economy as just that, a change, or a bump in the road that you need to maneuver through. Sometimes it’s just a matter of changing your focus and therefore your target market. Often flexibility wins.

It’s interesting that with Health Care being a huge issue right now, more people are turning to alternative, self-paid services like mine to find health!

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Rev It Up! Hypnosis Centers – what should we know?
I own Rev It Up, Hypnosis centers. I still, after 19 years specialize in weightloss, smoking cessation, and stress reduction, (and all that that entails!) And let me tell you, my clients are what I am proud of. Every success they have is one for me also! When I get notes or emails from someone who quit smoking years ago (and was virtually at deaths door!) I still do a happy dance in the office. When I see one of my weightloss clients who lost over 100 pounds (or even 30 pounds!) and has kept it off for years, I do a happy dance! When I see a client out there in the business world who has changed jobs, or still does the same one with a different attitude and is HAPPY with life, I do a happy dance. That is what sets me apart. I really believe in my clients, help them find hope, and help them succeed. I even guarantee it!

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
My sincere desire to help others reach their goals, keep their goals and share their goals with others, that is what is most important to my success.
