Meet Trina Belton of Spa Lé La in Studio City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trina Belton.

Trina, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Once her daughter was born, founder Trina Renea found herself longing for some of the simple pleasures from single life: a nap in the middle of the day, a guilt-free facial on a Sunday, and an indulgent soak in the tub.

Trina perfected the art of beautiful skin at her renowned Facial Bungalow. Featured in Vogue, Marie Claire, and Refinery29, women all over Los Angeles have flocked to her to keep them looking and feeling fantastic. As an esthetician, the power of relaxation was unmistakable–as soon as her client’s heads touched the pillow, she watched their stress melt away. Now with a whole body focus, she’s put her heart and soul into giving busy urban parents what they have been asking for–the freedom to take a minute for themselves.

Offering complimentary on-site child care, spa services, organic nibbles, and luxurious beds (uninterrupted nap, anyone?), our goal is simple: to make a parent’s self-care a guilt-free and gloriously relaxing affair.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Finding a location was definitely the biggest struggle. It took months. It had to be just right for parent and child.

We needed to find a place where the children could play without their parents hearing them during their quiet time in the spa. We ended up building a sound proof playroom. The kids love it and so do their parents.

To us, luxury isn’t about over-the-top promises or outrageously priced treatments.

We understand that just getting out the door can be a monumental task. That’s why if you’re running late, we’ll greet you with a smile and the understanding that life is complicated.

Your kiddo gets comfortable in the Spa Lé La Playroom, while you’re welcomed into our calming spa sanctuary.

Come spend the afternoon getting pampered. Or retreat to one of our private rooms for a bath and a nap.

Never feel rushed. Trust we have it all covered. At Spa Lé La we roll out the red carpet because every parent deserves star treatment.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood is playing. As long as I was playing I was happy. That’s the great thing about being a kid. No responsibilities. ahhhhhhh.

  • We want parents to be able to enjoy their quiet time at Spa Lé La a couple times a week. Not a once a month luxury. So the pricing is just right. 25 minute retreat services for only $40.
  • Childcare is complimentary during your services.
  • $40 Baths, naps, infrared sauna, massage throne, quiet rooms
