Meet Trae Weatherford

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trae Weatherford.

Hi Trae, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started making music in 2019. I’ve always had a deep passion & understanding of real music since a child growing up in Vallejo, CA with both my parents having me listen to R&B, Hip-Hop, Rap, Gospel and a ton of other genres. Once I started playing around with making my own beats, I tested the microphone & fell in love with writing & recording. Fast forward to 2023, I am proud to still be making music for the world to obtain.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, battled with a lot of struggles growing up & music as well. I’ve lost a lot of loved ones, family members, & friends to violence & bad health. As far as everything outside of that, I am in a battle with myself every day as an artist & a human being.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an artist, singer, rapper, writer, fashion designer, and model. I’m mainly known for my music. I’m most proud of every single thing that I am a part of. What sets me apart from others would be my Melodic & unique sound as well as style in the industry.

How do you think about luck?
Luck has played neither good or bad luck in my life. I don’t like to use the term “luck” I prefer the word blessed. Because that is what I’ve simply been in my life and business.
