Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Transitioning from Corporate to Entrepreneurship was not an easy road. Building a brand of my own and creating and nurturing a community of supporters has taken a lot of work, and is an ongoing effort. However, the reward has been being recognized and compensated for what I KNOW…and not just what I DO!

Please tell us about
I was recently recognized by Huffington Post as a “Top Expert to Follow in 2018.” That was a huge accomplishment for me to be recognized for my speaking and coaching work over the past couple of years. As a speaker, I have become known as someone who shares her personal story of adversities to help demonstrate anything is possible when you do the work. As a coach, my clients have experienced huge leaps of success beyond their own wildest dreams. They have recognized me as a true advocate and mentor, but someone who will also be honest with them and hold them accountable for achieving their personal and professional goals.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood is the Christmas when I received my first bike. It was pink with a basket and had tassels on the handlebars. That bike was my ticket to freedom. I was able to ride to my best friend’s house with all of my Barbies in the basket and we would play with our dolls for hours on her front porch.
