Meet Suzie Sandoval of OrganiZEN

Today we’d like to introduce you to Suzie Sandoval.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Suzie. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I entered this world living in a dysfunctional, chaotic home environment. This is how I naturally began developing my innate organizing abilities to cope with my environment and to feel in control of my life, despite the chaos that surrounded me. Early into my career life, my organizing skills set the foundation for amazing success in the corporate real estate industry. I advanced in at a young age and with rapid promotions to high levels of leadership, community organization and team building achievement.

After a decade into my corporate career, I became extremely burnt out. Despite the outward appearance of my happiness and success, I wasn’t fulfilled on the inside. I went back to college to pursue my dream of starting an organizing and life coaching business by earning my business management bachelors degree. By the time I graduated one of my classmates became my first client!

Initially, when I began working with clients the focus was centered on diving straight into decluttering and organizing physical needs such as categorizing and containerizing belongings. I continued to witness clients get the results they wanted – a perfectly organized space – but not experiencing the results they needed such as new habits, mindsets, tools and training on how to create and sustain an organized and clutter-free space.

As I became more fascinated in how to help my clients get organized, one thing kept sabotaging their long-term success, which was clutter. This is when I became intrigued by how clutter affected modern, successful women in their daily lives. In April 2015, I began interviewing successful women who volunteered to open up and share how clutter was affecting their lives. I was seeing so many similarities in what these women were sharing. I soon discovered two things about Clutter.

1) I’ve discovered that clutter is anything that blocks your flow in life and the joy in you.
2) There are 7 types of clutter that block us in our lives and significantly affect our relationships, health and our wellbeing.

These new discoveries resulted in new innovative and awe-inspiring methodologies to embolden my clients to organize and declutter their lives with lasting sustainability and success. This led to them taking bigger leaps in their personal and professional lives with courage and confidence. They were naturally inspired to create new self-care and work-life balance habits supported by their clutter-free environments and were discovering hidden aspects of their authentic selves.

The greatest joy I receive is seeing my clients create spaces they love that reflect who they are and support them living to their highest potentials. I’ve worked with clients as young as 5 years old and as wise as 95! OrganiZEN has not only transformed my client’s spaces and lives, it’s allowed me to transform myself and my life. I am now on a mission to inspire the creation of 1 billion new mindful spaces in our world.

This is accomplished by:
1. Emboldening you to find your superpower despite chaotic circumstances and clutter filled environments.
2. Educating you in abundance mindsets, mindfulness habits, and intuitive skills to transform your spaces and your life.
3. Inspiring you with new visions and innovative ideas for your home, office and life spaces, for what is truly possible.

Has it been a smooth road?
Organizing our spaces and our lives can feel like an overwhelming process. Often times I’d hear people share how many times they’d attempt to get organized and wouldn’t know how to start, wouldn’t finish what they’d start or would get organized only to have their space return to it’s cluttered and chaotic state time and time again.

Learning how to keep my clients focused, inspired and feeling accomplished took longer than I anticipated. Attracting clients who were ready to “do the work” was challenging as many people wanted quick fixes for deeply rooted problems.

I struggled with financial instability as I was so deeply passionate about providing my services to those who needed it the most, I would give my services away for free and often times would put in more effort than my clients, which created an imbalance of my own energy. This resulted in devaluing my own services and led to me feeling burnt out at times.

I had to develop my own holistic mindfulness habits to maximize my time, energy and self-care, so I could be a model and best serve my clients. This is what led to me developing greater structure and programs within my company that has allowed my clients to experience deeper levels of personal and professional transformations and sustainable success.

My company was created to teach and train clients life-long organizational abilities so they could share the gifts of organization with the people in their lives. Often times I witness mother’s experience tremendous amounts of joy and gratitude knowing they are modeling a new stress-free, quality living with skills they can teach their children.

OrganiZEN is a holistic organizing company inspiring and empowering dynamic leaders and beautiful souls to create mindful spaces at home, in the office and in life, to support living to their highest potentials. This is a personal growth journey for each individual to define what is essential to them as they learn how to let go of what no longer serves them and to create space for what really matters.

I integrate mindfulness and holistic practices into the teachings, as well as what I call, “ZEN Shui” an infusion of ZEN practices and feng shui principles. I am known for helping clients free themselves from all sources of clutter (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) through a program called, “Clutter Freedom.” Everyone wants a perfectly organized space but in order to get there, we’ve got to get to the root of the clutter and the heart of the matter for sustainable solutions.

As a clutter freedom specialist, what makes me extra unique is that I am the ultimate client. These teachings are a collection of what has healed clutter from my life and allowed me to thrive in ultimate freedom with mindfulness and epic, mindful spaces in my life.

I’ve always had the ability to see people’s highest potentials in life, this is my way of inspiring dynamic leaders to see into the beyond for what is possible in their lives. Our environments will sabotage or support the quality of life that brings more inner peace, clarity and freedom from suffering. I believe we all have the ability to create spaces we love that can allow us to live to our highest potentials in this lifetime.

Our homes have become storage spaces for our belongings. The more things we own the more prone we are to losing and misplacing things which agitate our peaceful state of being. Clutter blocks us from living in a healthy and functional home life, and our consumer-driven society perpetuates the mindset that we need more things to be happy.

Los Angeles, the city of angels, is an epic environment to thrive in for holistic and mindful organizations. It is the host of many new innovative companies who are partnering together now more than ever before, to collectively contribute to the betterment of our society and the world at large.
