Today we’d like to introduce you to Marla Stone.
After 17 years of a career as a Social Worker and Therapist, I-Deal-Lifestyle’s Founder Marla Stone decided to parlay her experience with helping people in need, and knowledge of the human psyche into a career in professional Organizing and life coaching. Stone is a member of NAPO, holds a B.A. in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work, giving I-Deal-Lifestyle a slightly different approach to Professional Organizing. Thus, I-Deal-Lifestyle was founded in March 2010. Since then Stone has expanded her practice to include home staging, hoarding cleanup, moving services, and interior decorating with a specialty in Feng Shui. She now works with independent contractors nationally who all enjoy her proprietary method of “inside out” organizing.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Having Professional Organizers and client learn new methods for long-term organization has been a difficult task. It involves changing your language. Change is very difficult for people and wanting to develop a way of de-cluttering and organizing homes, businesses and lives that cuts industry time standards in half has been a monumental experience.

We organize anything that can be organized.
We specialize in Corporate Organizing and Residential Organizing.
We teach everyone we work with a faster and easier approach to de-cluttering, organizing by category and we also do space planning.
We pack and unpack for moves and offer moving coordination services, decor and Feng Shui.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Wanting to help people genuinely. I love to see a person or company who is stuck get unstuck and back to normal, organized, decisive and in harmony with their values.
