Meet Kristen Lundberg

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristen Lundberg.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I’m from Dayton, Ohio and did my first stand up set when I was 17. I was immediately kicked out of the open mic at Wiley’s Comedy Club and was told to never come back because my jokes were that bad. I took to YouTube, and underground comedy shows to hone my act. Currently, I perform all over LA and surrounding cities.

Please tell us about your art.
I am a stand-up comic that plays violin in my act. I was told I should quit violin multiple times by my “cool” friends growing up. Their assholery made me hold on tighter. I perform to show that the things that make you different are worth holding on to. I carry myself as a leader in my field in hopes that people who follow me will believe in the power of their individualism. If my act were a genre of music, I would consider it punk rock because I want to burn the current stand up comedy system down to the ground.

We often hear from artists that being an artist can be lonely. Any advice for those looking to connect with other artists?
My advice is to connect with as many people as possible and consider for a second that maybe everyone is an artist in their own way 🙂

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
You can see me live performing five nights a week. You can support my work by showing up. Dates are on my site :
