Today we’d like to introduce you to Brad Lambert.
Brad, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.” – Steve Jobs
I’m a passion-driven guy. Since high school, I’ve pursued my passions and tried to make them a part of my life at any capacity. Growing up in Pittsburgh, PA my passions early on were sports – I grew up with the Steelers and Penguins, so I wanted to get into the Sports Industry and work with my favorite athletes and teams. To do this, I followed a philosophy which I still follow to this day… “If you can provide value in any situation, you will be successful.”
So that’s what I did, big or small, I added as much value as I could to my favorite athletes on the Steelers. This included helping them with Marketing, Social Media, Content Creation, PR, Event Production and more. I did this through high school and college, which gave me the opportunity to gain incredible experience working with my favorite brands and athletes and also build real relationships with them.
After college, my passion for film & TV took over, and I had the opportunity to move out to Los Angeles and work for a man I have the utmost respect for, Robert Downey Jr. As I did in the Sports Industry, I added whatever value I could to him and his production company Team Downey. After my time there, I spent two years at Warner Bros. managing the Digital Marketing campaigns for Film, TV and Catalog titles, winning two CLIO Awards during that time.
Since then, I’ve been independently producing and managing which has allowed me to work with some of the top brands, athletes, celebrities and influencers in the business. As a Producer, I produce Commercials, Social Content, Music Videos, Documentaries, TV Shows, Feature Films and my show “Producing Happiness” which you can find on my social channels. As a Manager, I manage Artists, Entertainers, and Athletes.
I assist them in building their brands, generating revenue opportunities and elevating them to not just win now, but in the future as well. Also, when I have the time, I speak at Universities on the importance of building genuine relationships and how that translates to success in your personal life and career.
I’m extremely grateful for the opportunities that I’ve had so far in my career, and I could not be more excited for what the future holds. It seems crazy, but if you GIVE more than you RECEIVE you will increase your reputation and put yourself in a great position to be successful – Start doing this and watch how quickly your entire life changes…
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
“A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.” – Franklin D. Roosevelt
Nothing about my career has been smooth, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! There have been incredible victories and heartbreaking setbacks. Notice how I didn’t say “failures”?
I’m a big believer that you either WIN or you LEARN, so with that mindset you really can’t “lose.” I “swing for the fence” in every aspect of my life – That way of living has given me some of my greatest experiences and some of the most impactful lessons. If you aren’t challenging yourself, you will never grow… and where’s the fun in that?
What’s sad in today’s world is that many are AFRAID to fail, so they don’t even try. You’ll never know what you’re truly capable of or how strong you really are if you don’t try! Life is too short to “settle,” so embrace the challenges and adversity that come your way… because as we all know, “whatever doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger.”
We’d love to hear more about what you do.
I produce Commercials, Social Content, Music Videos, Documentaries, TV Shows, Feature Films and my show “Producing Happiness” which you can find on my social channels.
I manage Artists, Entertainers, and Athletes. I assist them in building their brands, generating revenue opportunities and elevating them to not just win now, but in the future as well.
I consult Brands, Agencies and Celebrities on Marketing, PR, Social Media, and Events.
I speak at Universities on the importance of building genuine relationships and how that translates to success in your personal life and career.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Let me start off by saying I believe that “success” or achieving it, should and can be different for everyone.
I think you can define “success” in many categories – Ex: Financially, Physically and Mentally. I set goals for myself in multiple facets of my life, and I strive to achieve them. It’s nice to have goals, and reaching them is even better. But in my opinion, the most important “success” in life is HAPPINESS.
Call me crazy or corny, whatever you like… but I speak about this in-depth on my show “Producing Happiness.” If you aren’t happy in your personal life or in your career, it will be extremely difficult to be “successful” in either of those aspects of your life – That’s why I think we should start striving for HAPPINESS first, because it will ultimately increase our chances of achieving the other goals we have set for ourselves.
