Check out Esther Levy’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Esther Levy.

Esther, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I am the mother of five children. After experiencing some health issues in pregnancy I turned to natural healing. I wanted to know all my options. I fell in love with alternative medicine and realized the power of communicating with my body. So I began by eating cleaner and making my own remedies for myself and the family and ended up sharing it with friends.
I practice yoga and boxing. A friend shared that there wasn’t any natural skincare geared around fitness. I asked her for her wish list and began a testing period where I’d get my friends to go into the hot room to see if our natural deodorant could actually hold up. I was successful in creating a formula that actually worked!
We opened our first local boutique in June of 2015 servicing the needs of the community.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I am an artist. I love engaging with the craft. Over the years I have learned how to build and design most things by myself. I teach my kids all kinds of cool tricks as well. I have found that walking girls through the process is super empowering.
Over the years I have been successful in business. When I transitioned into natural healing my environment changed, my desires changed too and making money wasn’t the driving force any longer.
I learned that it all begins with self. So now I begin my day with self-development and meditation. I make sure I am balanced in the mind, in my body and soul. When I enter my workspace I am at peace with my environment and everything works in harmony.
I have 10+ siblings so I am good with quantity. Producing in large batches never scare me. I play sound-bath while I work and infuse healing energy into myself and every product. Engaging with natural ingredients has the power to nurture.

What do you think it takes to be successful as an artist?
The essence of success is connection and functionality. This goes for packaging, ingredient and staff selection, relationships with customers and retailers.
I do the work to get clarity internally and understand that I have to be aligned first before all. If I give 100% and create a functional environment everyone who shows up can also give 100%

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
