Hi Tolis , thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Yes, when people tell me, ‘Tolis, I see your gloves everywhere,’ or when I walk into random boxing gyms and see people I’ve never met using my brand.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Tolis Keivani, I’m Greek-Albanian and the founder of TK Boxing Gear, based in Los Angeles since 2020. What makes our brand special isn’t just the gear, but the people behind it — the team that keeps things moving even on tough days, and the community that’s supported us since day one. They’re the real reason the brand continues to grow
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
For me, loyalty and honesty are everything — in both friendship and business. We all have our good and bad moments, but we should never betray the people who were there for us. The same applies to business: you treat your clients with honesty and with the same respect you’d want to receive yourself
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Not even a single time. If another man has figured out the same issues I’m facing now, then it’s on me to do everything I can to keep the business alive and growing.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
Since a young age, I’ve admired elite athletes at the highest level, because most people don’t understand the sacrifices it takes to get there.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
It’s already been a few years since I locked in and started focusing only on what truly matters for my business and personal life. Trust me, there’s nothing left to cut — haha.
