Loki , it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me consists of spending my time overseas in Spain learning a new language and intaking a new culture.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Loki Rara. I run a brand that consist of entertainment, fashion, as well as video content. Currently right now I am on a Europe tour where I will be traveling through Spain and France. As of right now, I have spent around a month of my time in Spain intaking the new culture and learning a new language as well as meeting a lot of fans I have in Spain. My goal with this Europe trip is to spread my light across the world to more than just people in America.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
A moment that really shaped me and how I viewed the world is it time when I went to eastern Asia and I saw how I was able to connect with a vastly different group of people who have a different culture and different mannerisms. To see how I was able to bring light and positivity to that side of the world showed me that my light is able to extend and reach past limits that I am still stretching.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
One thing that suffering during this process of success taught me was that it’s easy to be grateful when everything’s going well, when everything‘s working, when you’re comfortable, and when there are no issues it’s easy to be grateful and to thank God. Can you be grateful when things aren’t working when maybe you don’t have the resources you need? Can you still get up every day push through and be grateful even when you are in the state of lack, that is something that suffering teaches you. You have to be grateful even when things are not in favorable conditions.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
A lot of people don’t really understand how important luck is on this journey, being in the right place at the right time meeting the right people. Not everything comes down to hard work and how much effort you exert. We all would like to believe that if you just work hard all day every day your dreams will come true, but there’s a lot more components that go into this such as networks, opportunities, and just sometimes being early. All these things contribute to success so its not just hard work.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you laid down your name, role, and possessions—what would remain?
If I had to strip everything of this human world that identifies me, I would just be a person with a soul who has a light and the ability to spread it to light other people up. That is something that I know I was born to do and it’s my purpose, regardless of any external titles, rules or achievements, that have been placed on me.
