LaLo , a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
As of late it looks the first 90 look like cannabis, calisthenics, and cardio. Calisthenics consists of 5 sets, each set is a 1 min hand stand, a 1 min plank, 60 pushups & 8 pullups as for Cardio that’s 3 miles on most days I jog but there are those days where those.3 miles get walked. Burn tree here and there throughout the workout and it has been a daily situation for the majority of the year with the exception of very rare rest days here and there.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hey y’all I am LaLo Towers put the 88 in between and GimmeTheLooT 2 times aka GimmeTheL88T. At this point I can say I am a creative. Though I started in music and music is my first love in the creative space. As of this moment I’m thankful to say I am a signed actor. Currently with Natalie Lynn Talent on the theatrical side and SVEA Talent on the commercial side. I have had the pleasure of being OCP/ Lead on a few projects in the last couple of years. I recently was Director of Photography on a short film titled “Hemelio” and am currently co-director on a short comedy that I co-wrote. The short comedy which is currently untitled is projected to release sometime in August and “Hemelio” has had a premiere but no current date for streaming. Both projects were filled with very talented people and am very thankful to be apart of each production. On the music side I’ve released “Trauma Response” one & two across all streaming platforms. Each project consists of 3 songs and I’m happy to say that I produced and freestyled/wrote/performed all 6 the songs. All but the mix and master which I worked with Landon Dunker on the mix and master to really bring those songs out. Honestly I’m far from where I’d like to be but also far from where I started and as long as I’m breathing I am thankful for the opportunities I’ve had the pleasure of being apart of as well as the ones that are on their way.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
My father’s suicide and the birth of my daughter the following year.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
So many times it’s not even funny. But we breathing so I’ma keep cracking jokes like some eggs and staying ripped like a sheet of paper. 🫡
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
Manners I guess lol. I’m a Texas Mexican so regardless of anything else, one thing I was brought up on fashitsho is respect. I get zero points for disrespect. I’ll yes sir, no sir, yes ma’am, no ma’am, the shit out of you. I’ve noticed it more in Cali since I’ve been out here.

Enjoy your time regardless of the chapter you’re currently in, cause memories are missed most in the present.
Fear does nothing for me.
It is better to be at peace with yourself and at war with the world than vice versa.
Learn to listen to you cause only you can save you.
Oh and regardless of the up and and downs of the lessons and blessings. I’m thankful for all of it cause all of it had to happen the way it happened for this to happen the way it’s happening….. For each of us to even exist if you go back far enough on history.
