We recently had the chance to connect with FATELL and have shared our conversation below.
Good morning FATELL, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
I am chasing my dreams and have been for most of my life. My pursuit began many years ago when I locked in on the life I envisioned for myself with my talents. I will never stop chasing my dreams because to be quite honest if I did, I would be lost and without purpose as this fuels my soul.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Frenzee Broadcasting was created by CEO & founder Raymond Baldonado, Jr. Aka Fatell. Originally set out to be a podcast company. Frenzee has grown to become a fully functional production house, hosting such shows as FM syndicated After Party Radio Show hosted by Fatell, The Outlaw Show Hosted by E.D.I. Mean of The Outlawz, Elani Talks, Top Shelf & more. We are proud to bring you legendary guests such as Kid n’ Play, DJ Yella of N.W.A., Gangsta Boo from the Three 6 Mafia, DJ Vlad of VladTV, and professional boxers Zab Judah & Deontay Wilder just to name of few. Not only do we interview celebrities, we also showcase brands & others with extraordinary stories to tell. In addition to this, Frenzee also offers industry-quality original productions in TV, music, & film, from shooting music videos, short films to in-house studio photography to name a few. Frenzee Broadcasting started as a podcast and has now evolved into a syndicated radio show. We are also proud to produce The Outlawz Show which is hosted by Hip Hop legend E.D.I. Mean from The Outlawz.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
My mentor platinum super producer Donald XL Robertson has taught me so much about the ins and outs of this entertainment industry. He continues to guide me towards my full independence as a Ceo, artist & businessman. Now partnered together with hip hop mogul MASTER P we are excited to bring the world NO LIMIT LATIN a Latin division of the infamous NO LIMIT RECORDS established in 1991.
No Limit Records is an American record company founded by Master P. The label’s albums were distributed by Priority Records, Universal and Koch Records. The label included artists such as Snoop Dogg, Mercedes, Silkk the Shocker, Mystikal, Mia X, Mac, C-Murder, Magic, Romeo Miller, Fiend, Kane & Abel, and Soulja Slim.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Struggling to find my own lane and place in this industry has been extremely challenging for me. I had to suffer many years of hardships to get to where I am today. I give a lot of credit to my shortcoming’s as they have made me resilient and appreciative for all the progress and accomplishments I’ve achieved. When you have to fight for your dreams you will never let them go when you reach them.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a belief you used to hold tightly but now think was naive or wrong?
In my younger years I believed that if you wanted something done you would have to do it yourself. However, now I believe that’s naive and wrong as your only as strong as the weakest link in your organization. I now know that no matter how talented you are you need a great team to which you can learn and trust to delegate key roles to ensure success. Even Superman gets tired and needs back up sometimes.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
I understand that trusting the process and putting in the work to back it up is what will define our life’s outcome. Most people don’t believe something is real until they can feel it, I have faith that something will be solid before its even a reality.
